Seems like more negative than positive results now.

But I heard that someone told 328 can cut away the finlets and they will grow back. Did that SOMEONE tried it himself/herself? How did the finlets grow back?

I just think that it's not right when that person did not have any proof to show that it can be done with the finlets growing back well and perfect. Talking is easy but being responsible for what was said is not.

It's not ethical when there is no proof and giving others false hope and causing others to get blamed if it turns out otherwise.

You seem to be very troubled by this matter

I'm indeed very troubled by this. I will only believe it's true when I see the facts.

I just feel that we as hobbyist should not give others false hopes. I just want to be sure of the facts.

Anyway, I've emailed Dr Fred Chua for his professional opinion.

Professional opinion on the trimming of the dorsal fins?

Ya true. When people here that the crooked dorsals can be trimmed, even those very crooked pieces might be bagged home and only later on realize that they're stuck with that piece and can't do anything about it.

I understand your frustration, hope to hear some good news.
