Default What are the chances for him finding a mate?

Currently have 6 aros inside and the male is the alpha now. The other 5 pcs are coming to 2 years and any pairing chance?

He Keeps making growling noise...

Puppy love sometimes can lead to pregnancy hope happens to my aros

Altums sometimes get free haircut but numbers are maintained haha I count them every morning ...

If the male keeping rubbing the sides of two pieces in particular does it mean the two are females? I am assuming the male fish is straight...

Very Very nice Goldie Comm...not to mention solid A.As! Swee lah.

Would appreciate if you can actually video the "Rubbing" Process or Courtship Process to let hobbyists here advise better.

ok let me try to capture them.. is like few seconds of rubbing followed by 'growl!!!......' kind of sound..

He is trying to stimulate the female to lay eggs....the rubbing or vibrating of the body against the female created the "growling" sound.
