I have comm various species of corydoras together without any problems. Infact, they all get along very well. Most of the time, they will group together like one big happy family. No territorial dispute or even minor aggression.

Cool, I may do that or I may get two more C. Sterbai. It may be weird having two species in a small tank.

Here is how the aquascape looks like now.
I threw in all but the two biggest pieces I have, I noticed that the Corydoras interact with the environment a great deal. This layout is sort of a test to see how they interact with the hardscape when so much of it is on the ground.

My tank is delayed but that is a good thing as I need to save up for more ADA wood and substrate. I will update again once I have the tank.

I can't keep more than one tank as I do not have any more space on my table. Pygmy corydoras are really cute! But a little too small for my liking, have been keeping too many small fauna last year.

The measurements of the new tank are 52cm(length)x15cm(depth)x20cm(height). It is custom made to fit the top of my bookshelf. Total capacity is about 15 litres.

It is made using clear and minimal silicon and here are some shots of the silicon work. Expecting ADA standards will not be realistic and I am happy to say that if there are slight imperfections, no one will notice unless they are looking out for them. The tank is made using normal glass, on hindsight, I should have went for crystal. Oh well..

Before filling the tank with sand, it is imperative to clean it up. Here, I just use kitchen paper towels and water.
