Did you re-use rocks from your nano or bought them from another reefer?

Assuming testkits are working and not expired, its possible that there was little bacteria loss during the transfer so you don't register any ammonia and nitrite despite throwing a market prawn in.

You can observe for another few days, if there really isn't any ammonia and nitrite spike, you can slowly start to stock up the tank. IMO, you can play safe by running it for 4weeks first before stocking.

I experienced something similar when i re-setup my 4x2x2 using rocks from my old 4x2x2. I didn't experience any ammonia spike despite placing in a market prawn but I still played safe by running the setup without any fish for around 4weeks.

shouldn't be the test kits issue as i use it to measure my nano tank

will monitor another week before adding lifestock in
