Very surprise sahara desert got snow. If this ever hit SG, wonder what will happen as temp will lightly be just 1 single digit. Now at 22 / 23 already so cold. If it is 15, don kn how is the cold like.
In ROC, have encountered at 17 and when you blow out can see smoke. |

Unimaginable unless polar shift. Sahara is further away from Equator and have Summer and Winter. This is the 3rd time it snowed in 40 years. The amazement is likely due to the very dry atmosphere in Sahara thus even in Winter, it doesn't snow. Some ppl will freeze to death. Last edited by globalcookie; 12-01-2018 at 01:52 AM. |

Heard on news, last night temperature dropped to 21.9 degrees in AMK and Marsiling (and even ubin).
Has it touched 21 degrees, or was it just some forecast that some mentioned earlier? Based on what I read, in some news report, it mentioned temperature to fall to as low as 21 degrees, which means, it's a forecast. Based on some search, the coldest temperature was felt on 14 Feb 1989, at Paya Lebar, when it touched 19 degrees. http://www.weather.gov.sg/climate-hi...s-temperature/ Last edited by globalcookie; 12-01-2018 at 12:24 PM. |

Even put on snow chains on tyres in -4 but didn't know was so low until next morning report. It's the wind shear that's chilling and knocks us, not really the low temp.
