I checked all already, Ph stable at 7.5 (no buffering media), ammonia 0, nitrite 0, nitrate was a bit high (75mg) before i do a WC, and now the level was 20mg. I was doing 30% WC everyday 2 days with adding a little amount of salt, will this help?

Thanks

no doubt some might argue, that with poor water quality, even an adult would up the lorry as well, but we are talking about pups weakness during transport to new environment.
back to topic, check your ph,and how long hv the tank being seasoned.
remember if someone too earger to sell you pups and insisted you to pack and go on the spot, you should be alarmed.
sincere advise
Thank you for the great advise bro, maybe i'm wrong with that side, will take a big note for those advise =D. I have checked my pH and it was stable at 7.5, no buffering media added. I have been running this tank for half a year and no problem at all, maybe im overfeeding the pups in order to boost their growth up, but the water parameters all are perfect.

I never fed them with live feeders, i only feed them with MP, small cut frozen fish, frozen squid, Lionhead pellets and frozen bloodworm.

Now i'm doing 30% WC everyday 2 days with salt added, put extra aeration in the tank. Am I in the correct way? Thanks.. Your guys help are greatly appreciated

First, have you acclimatised properly on your newly purchased ray....

4inches is too small for you to bring back.... very Fragile

Is there is diff between the ph and temp of the water in the bag (which with the ray came in) and your tank? A slight diff in this areas would likely prove fatal for most pups as they cant acclimatise properly.

Secondly, your mentioned 3inch pearl ray, its a bit on the small side. How long have the pups been born before you take delivery? If its less than 3-4weeks, its not stable enough for transfer as yet. You have taken a big risk by buying such pups even if you got them for a good price.

Finally you need to check your basics, ammonia (should be zero), nitrites (should be zero) and nitrates (not more than 25ppm). Rays once they are stable in your tank are very hardy and can take poor water conditions if the conditions deteriorate slowly. However, when new rays are added, it creates a shock, especially if the new rays are previously raise in very good water conditions.

Hope the above helps.
1st. The water difference between my tank and the water in the plastic bag is not slightly much different, e.g tank pH 7.5, temp 29, bag ph 7.0, temp 28.

2nd. I will take not of these things, maybe it was my fault and taking a big risk of buying such a small pups. THanks bro

3rd. I've checked all the water parameters, all seems fine, nothing is wrong with the water. Should i add a medication?

Thanks for the great help

Transfer the pup to a two feet tank using back the same water.
Then put few live feeders, suggest live shrimps, not torsats.

After one day, do 15% water change.

Use simple mechanical cotton wool overhead filtration.

I think your big tank filtration also has problem.

I feel as long as the fish is able to move, hunt and eating, it should be fine. From the pictures, the coloration of the ray looks fine to me. Usually, sick ray will become less active and stop eating. Curl disc usually associate with sudden death....this usually caused by bacteria/parasite from newly introduced fish. I use Melafix to treat my rays. Observe the ray, if still moving and eating and with your wc, i feel should be fine.

Regards

Yes bro, I'm planning to move them to 4ft FGT filled with 80% tank water with OHF filtration setup and medias are some biorings from the same tank, i move them because i need to reconstruct my tanks and sump system, there was a mistake when last time made it. My question : Is it ok to transfer the pearl pups while it is in this condition? Will transfer them make them more stress?

Thanks

The fish is still eating and accept all kinds of food, but while resting it is doing curling and sometimes swims a bit. I've been doing 10% waterchange with prime added everyday. Im planning on moving them to 4ft FGT, will this action stress them further or is it ok to transfer them?

Thanks for the help
