Mine is Jebo
Most of the canister's water flow form the bottom to the top, I had not come across one that flow from the top to the bottom. Although some canister inlet is at the top but water is direct to the bottom and flows up because the pump is on the top.

Thks Bro for the info.....so it means the top tray should be filled with fine media to trap the smallest particles and the bottom one is the one that receives the dirty water first.

Mine is 5 tray type.

Inlet : Covered by sponge to act as pre-filter.
Bottomest tray: Bio Sponge on top followed by Jap Mat
2nd tray from bottom: Ceramic Rings on top, Jap Mat at the bottom
3rd tray from bottom: Ceramic Rings on top Jap Mat at the bottom
4th tray from bottom: Bio Home
Top tray: Filter wool.

Is this arrangement ok or is there a better configuration.

Thks
