Albino Aethiopicus Lungfish
Hi all, i'm contributing my first share of aquatic facination we all love to indulge in. This is my Albino Aethiopicus (sometimes called marbled) lungfish. It has been with me for over 3 years. A very gratifying rarity to rear and surprisingly gentle in nature too, unlike it's Annectens cousin. Here are some quick facts about it:
Size: 27+inches (max size probably 4-5ft in captivity) Diet: Currently just Hikari Massivore pellets and algae wafers. Will eat prawns too. Water PH preferred: 5.5 to 7 Tank space: Currently housed in a 4x1.5ft tank. Feel free to comment and enjoy viewing the pictures of this not-so-common monster. Full body shot Eating pellets Close up of chewing |
