Those staying Punggol/Seng Kang area, are you facing water issue?
Last night, I did a normal water change for my tank before I go to bed and this morning, my entire tank of goldfish got wipe out.
I didn't do anything extra out of my normal routine. just now, I did another water change to my another tank and this time I make sure I am fully 100% aware of what I am doing to the water (making sure I put anti chlorine and bake soda, etc) and my fish are struggling. I immediately add abit more Safe to the water and turn on my air pump to the max. now a few pcs are floating on top of the water not swimming much. I hope they can pull thru tonight. I am writing this to check those who staying in punggol or SK area are you guys facing the same problem as me? |

What ac r u currently using?
Just sharing my experience. Staying at punggol, really feel the water here not as good as compared to last time when i was staying in the north. Sometime fish do die after water change. Usually more sensitive small fish or barb. However after changing to AST anti chlorine nv had such encounter again for abt 9 months. Think good ac play a part too. |

I stay in Sengkang and using Seachem Safe and sodium bicarbonate, all my tanks bioload are not heavy but super heavy. Water change each time from main tank is about 75% and direct top up from tap to main tank at full speed. So far no issue and my guppy and pleco continue to breed.
I water my plants too. Plants grow in water, grow on soil, and in the air. All no issue, flowering and producing young. By the way, I drink water directly from tap. Only boil to make coffee. No issue too. Maybe you can consider to move to SengKang, same block as me. We can join force. |

7 footer tank.
Weekly 80% WC. Once or twice weekly. Using AST. Only WC in the evening when water is not hot. No problems ever. But I have PH monitor to always make sure maintain PH7. No CC only does Bicarbonate when PH drops. |
