Those 5 pieces of AA at $40 is worth to take the risk, less than $10 each. I will do it if I were you also.

If 2 pcs of them are survive and it is worthwhile, of course I hope all are surviving.

If I were you I probably will buy as well.

Just a caution to everyone...get a cover for your altum tanks...i woke up this morning to find one of my happily growing altums on the floor....no idea why he jumped also

Wasaabi, I'm glad that you welcome my suggestions. Well for 40 bucks... why shouldn't you? So what is the status now? Do share the updates.

IMHO...if I were you I better stay with the remaining 6.

An additional pc probably have to go though certain risk and worse case may get involved your remaining 6 pcs.

If you really wanted to add more then qurantine them certain period.

sad for your loss (happened to my adult discus before... found dried behind the cabinet).

1st thing to check is water condition.
followed by equipment check for any stray current.

or it could just be it got spooked by something.. maybe someone suddenly walked past the tank in the morning while the altum still dazy? it's probably an isolated incident but do monitor the behaviour of the rest.
and no, best not to add to the 6.
