noticed recently that my yamato in the bristle nose tank is dying.. and the babies are feeding on the yamatos bodies and also the number of babies seems like drop a lot.. wonder wat went wrong.. had water changed about once a week and feeding is 1 hikari algea wafer per day... maybe they are hungry and hunt the yamato done..

Maybe the higher bioload (from your fry brood) is causing water quality to drop.
with poorer water quality, your yamatoes die, causing further drop in water quality.

in the end, everyone (fry and shrimps) in the tank suffer.
