Final updates for my tank.
Its been 22 days since I first started on the tank. The tank more or less had been scaped and will maintain as it is nw unless the granite rocks still leech minerals into the water. Pardon for the lousy shots
My FTS (water condensation due to low temp of 22) Also got a pleasant surprise cos I saw my plants bubbling(even the algae) HC oso spreading well and bubbling A new plant given by my fren - wat plant is this? looks like a rose. so beautiful As i had stop using the wavemaker(shrimp flying ard), thus added this HOF to the tank(sad is no place to hang so keep it on the glass plane support) to create more water flow ] Current inhabitants - 10 CHERRYYYYYYYYYYYY (but due to the size of tank 10 cant see much) |

Sorry didn't realise from your other post that this was your tank.
Bro any reason that you need your tank to be at 22C? It's quite a waste of electricity, there is no benefit from this temperature especially with nothing inside. If anything it will drastically slow the growth of your plants. I seriously doubt that the rocks will stop leeching minerals. So if you intend to keep shrimps you might have to wait a very very long time. The other thing that I found out the hard way is it is very difficult to have a planted tank to keep CRS, especially the higher grade ones. Plants have their requirements and these requirements don't necessarily match the shrimps' requirements. |
