haha... actually i am living on the 2nd floor, thus sunshine veri minimum. Its oso bcos of this, the living room lights are switch on abt 18hrs a day so scare there will be extra light which will lead to algae bloom. Maybe i think too much liao.

As for CRS, wat can i do if dosing fert is dangerous to them? will oni be adding CRS think after another 2 mths

your own tank's lighting will very strong and that tiny winy bit of room light will not have any effects lah.... as for crs, you can either dose little and hope for the best every day(who knows if ur fert contains copper or other substance that are harmful to invert) or don't keep crs at all.

Errr... I think you miss out the tank water cycle which is usually 1 week plus.

On another note, why do you keep out the light after dosing the fert?

Keep a look out on the quality of the water.

Hahahaha... there's no live (apart fm the pest snails) in the tank. Even the assassin snail is inside my guppy tank.

Tks will take not. Fert is dosed at nite before the photo period.

Jus done a chk on the tank perimeters after running the tank for 2 days.

GH - 5dH
pH - 6.6

temp (all 8 x 54watts aquazonic fully switched on) - 28.1
temp (all lights off) - 27.7
(hink will have to gat a chiller to bring dwn the temp to ard 25)

Nice project bro, can't wait to see ur photo updates. Maybe can consider adding more soil to the back to create a steeper gradient? Might create a greater depth perception. Thanks for sharing!

Tats what i think oso, after laying the soil, it actually had quite a steeper gradient, but when the rock is added in, due to the weight, the slope was press down cos i forgot to add support under the rocks. Haiz, nvr mind la lesson learn

If your plants are high maintenance, get a chiller,
If your plants are of low to mid maintenance, get two fan will do.
{Just like girlfriend haha}
