Trust the Gold Fish?
Hi guys, Some say use gold fish to test the water.
If the gold fish is alive, means ready to add fishes in? |

1 gold fish bio-load does not = ur fishes bio load, maybe bb at that time is enough to support 1 gold fish but not ur full load. Just wait the full cycle time and do water testing safer.

my question would be where would the goldfish go after you 'confirm' your water is good for fish keeping?
anyway, different fishes require different water parameters such as pH and some are more hardy than others. best is still to use chemical test kit |

Will just keep the goldfish in the tank lo, or maybe return to lfs. Anyway i bought PH pen reader, API nirate, nirite, and ammonia chemical test kits! So ill do testing weekly? After new tank arrives. |

Measure your water parameters:
Ammonia reading must be zero. Nitrite reading must be zero. and Some reading on Nitrate reading. This means your tank is cycled. Do add your fish gradually so as to let your filter handle the bioload. |

I'm using feeder shrimps as indication as I feel shrimps are more sensitive than fishes especially towards chemicals.
