I'm using partition tank. 3ft x 2ft. Partitioned into 3 section. Another 2 smaller tank too.
I have always been a fan of CRS since I started keeping shrimps. It was CRS that drawn me into this hobby. I'll want to keep a tank full of CRS again. Having 100-200 CRS in a 2ft tank is just an awesome sight. |

Love ur crs! I'm gonna try keeping them soon! I'm very new to keeping shrimp! I am using 2 feet tank to keep them. I have sakura n cherry red now. Does anyone know how to tell a difference between both of them? Temperature goes up to 28++ degrees at this part of the year. Is it okay?

Thanks. CRS need cool water (at least 26C), please get a chiller if you intend to keep them.

Not sure what Japanese soil you are talking about but as long as it lowers the ph it should be fine. A cooling fan might work during the cooler months of the year but as it gets warm you will have trouble cooling your tank. Also as water evaporates you might have other issues like GH high issues. Do look at the stickies above, much of the basics can be found there.
