be very careful when dealing with ketapang leaves (or as the westerners will call them indian almond leaves)..
u need to clean them sufficiently, make sure they are dry, and then only use them... otherwise u are introducing all the germs and bacterias gathered from the ground whilst still thinking u did ur aros a good thing... good luck with ur ktp leaves hunting!!! |

BTW< the black water extract that we see in LFS these days, are meant for 4 seasons countries which do not have ketapang trees growing... since there are abundant supplies in our region, why don't we just use them wisely?
black water extract can be quite pricey... |

both are essentially the same. one is the raw ingredient; the other is the extract. doesnt matter which u choose, just get something that ur comfortable with.

Using ketapang leaves is more economic if you can get them around your place. Only in places nowhere to be found this item then got to go lfs and buy black water instead.
