Default How to get rid of Duckweed?

How to get rid of those? It's like I'm unable to get rid of them totally.

For my case I net out what I can "see" & let the surface skimmer do the rest.

Just use net to remove them whenever you see them. Should do the trick.

If empty tank ... can also use goldfish ... they feed on duckweeds at very fast rate.

I dont think it's enough for your GF. It's just that all my tanks have some and an eyesore. Not that all my tanks are covered because I net out all the time but seems like forever cant finish netting. It all started with 1pc of duckweed inside the Malayan Shrimp bag that I just poured into my tank.

How do you know I am staying in Sengkang now?

scoop out every single piece you can find manually. you're bound to miss a few. monitor your tank closely for the next whole week and once again scoop out every single duckweed you see everyday. After a week, you're free from duckweed.

The DWs from you are really great!!! Anyone seen them said they are nice.

Maybe need to wait another month or 2 before they really grow. Now I have only planted temporary plants to prevent algae growth before my plant shipment is in.

I have added 2 more tanks but need to wait for a while before setting up. burst initial budget dont know how many times already..

Do drop by when u pass by Sengkang.
