redcross CRS Dying!!!!

HEy bros, just bought some CRS from 328. Although kept them in a 1ft tank, but water parameters very good. Don't think that its the water parameters that was the murderer. I've listed a few reasons. Hope you guys can enlighten me.

pH: 6.7
Ammonia: 0 ppm
Nitrite: 0 ppm
Nitrate 10 ppm

1) Didn't use natural antichlorine like "stresscoat" and used a chemical one called "Genesis".

2)Changed about 70% of water yesterday (Due to very high nitrite levels...so no choice, but now I test water everyday and only change 5%-10% of water daily)

I bought 17. About 8 died already I have an overhanging filter and a fan running 24/7. Inside the hanging filter I put eheim filter media.

unless you have experience in keeping crs, a larger tank, minimum 2 feet, is recommended for beginners

how did you intro your crs into your tank? drip method, poke holes in bag or ?

How did you climatize them into your tank?

How long is it between time you bought it to the time you reached home?

What's your tank temperature?

70% water change is a bit too drastic. you could have shocked them by doing that.

if you do not have a good filter system try to get 1 and also have some plants.

Hope you aged your water before pouring them into the CRS tank.

No choice... no space to put a larger tank. But my eheim media already have cultured bio bacteria, and are from my aro's tank. Aro does not have any disease.

I put the bag in the tank for 15 mins then released the shrimp by cuttint the bag open and letting the shrimp flow in.

But I thought CRS are ok as long as ammonia 0 ppm, nitrite 0 ppm and nitrate less than 25 ppm?

20 mins. Put them in right after coming back from 328.

What's your tank temperature?
Less than 27 degrees. Got a cooling fan.

I added the anti chlorine "Genesis" Didn't age water. Is that the cause of my shrimps' death?
