In my opinion, depends on which types of shrimps and the micro organisms or algae ('food source' for shrimps) in these plants. Clumps of almost any types of moss are welcome by small shrimps like cherry, crs etc. I used to have lush thick foreground of E tenellus and shrimplets like to hide in these plantlets. Also, having red-coloured shrimps on patches of bubbling riccia fluitans are also soothing sight to watch with the colour contrast between the red and green. Another types of plant is hygrophila deformis aka water wisteria. A few bunches of such plants can formed thick lush bush at corner of a mid to background tank and you can see shrimps foraging amongst the leaves.

Actually there isnt such a thing as to which plants shrimps love most. Its just part of marketing strategy that says that. |
