Default lake akan

Hey All,

As you guys know, I am a fan of the marimo ball, it is easy to take care, super cute and there is no other flora like it! The only thing it is sensitive to is heat, just like me.

Okay, this scape "lake akan" is in tribute of the marimo ball. Lake akan is the birthplace of the marimo and I decided to do my take of a small corner of this lake. Japan is also the the origin of the yamato shrimp which I do own one and he is also my ever first shrimp.

So this scape is quite sendimental to me, one of my first flora and my very first shrimp.

I have also added two sakura (japanese name! ) shrimps to this scape and within 3 days, I found shrimplets! So I guess all my fauna are enjoying their little piece of home as much as I am.

Enjoy and I would love your feedback!

"Lake Akan is a beautiful crater lake in Akan National Park. It is home to marimo, a very rare algae species, which forms itself into beautiful green balls. Left alone for a few centuries, Lake Akan's marimo can reach the size of soccer balls. The algae have been designated a National Special Natural Monument."

Here is a badly taken picture of my sakuras having dinner.
Wish I had a camera with a 1cm macro instead of 10cm.

wa.. me no expert la...later other ppl chop my head. hee.

i think i know wat is the prob... its ur wood... it doesnt blend with ur marimos on e right hand side... if u look at ur 1st pic its quite obvious.. marimos too round and ur wood too "flat"... make them stand out and clash with each other...
