Default Starting my 4x2x2 project

Please give me feedback how to arrange the rocks.
Should i add some smaller rocks around the biggest one on the left?

plan to plant HC, hairgrass and some background plants (just behind the biggest rock).

thanks.

looks scattered with lotsa space. if these are the rocks that i'm gonna work with, i would arrange it all tgt like what you said. to give one part of the tank a visually higher ground than a spacious leveled view. but thats just my personal view. most importantly is you enjoy what you come up with.

something like this ? cus it will give you a centre focal point & since its a 2ft height, you might wanna compensate the bare water level with something high. on top of it, hairgrass commonly available in SG would be dwarf hairgrass which grows to ard 4-6cm ?

you need much much larger rocks bro.. hardscape aside, are you running only 1x eheim canister + ur chiller? it wont be enough.. for my 422, im using Fluval Fx5 (2300l/hr) without chiller and still i find it not strong enough.. only after i use a sunsun 3000l/hr wavemaker then i get a good flow..

this is nice. will use this as a guide. will the mixture of hair grass and HC make it very messy? i am in a dilemma now......
