Default My Wild Pterophyllum collection

Hi Folks,

Just wanna share some pics of my humble collection of wild angelfish. Pardon me for the poor picture.

Pterophyllum Scalare "Manacapuru" (also known as the Rio Negro or Red Shoulder)

My alpha male

Another Manacapuru

Manacapuru pair breeding

Pterophyllum Scalare "Peru" (also known as the Spotted Peruvian or Peruvian Altum although it is a scalare and not an altum)

Note that there are several variants of the Pterophyllum Scalare "Peru" from different river system. Mine is the Rio Nanay

Suspected Rio Nanay pair (my upcoming project...)

Pterophyllum Altum

Pterophyllum Leopoldi

This Leopoldi is very likely to be a female. Anyone got a matured male to spare?

Other fellow angelfish lovers, please feel free to showcase your wild angel collection here.

Wow, thanks for sharing your collections. Thought the Alpha male looks remarkably stunning! It must have took you some time & effort to put these rare collections together? Thumbs up bro!

Thanks. Only the Manacapuru has such Red on its shoulder amongst the wild strains. Well, perhaps its time for you to come back to this hobby.

Thanks. But that Altum is only a juv and pic was taken immediately after introducing to my planted. It's nothing compared to the amazing collection of Altum that some bros here have.

That Alpha male seems to be quite picky in choosing his mate. Hope to pair him with a female soon. Ya, it took me a while to collect these wild angels.

Thanks. Those are just some simple shots. Not as "glamour" as those that some hobbyists have put up.

Well, I'm still learning everyday too and there are some real pros in angelfish in this forum.
