Pleco Competition @ AF Carnival 2012

Dear All Pleco Kakis,

Pleco Club (Singapore) is exploring into organizing a National Pleco Competition during the upcoming AF Annivesary/Carnival to be held in early Sept'12.

We would like to carry out an INTEREST check on the response before we proceed to finalize the detail of the Competition.

We will give this thread one week for all to consider.

Should the response not meet the required numbers of participants, we will shelf the category or even the whole event this year. Should all events individually not meet the required number of participants, then we may put all entries into one category ie OPEN.

The entire competition will include 3 categories

1) Cat 1 - Pseudacanthicus, Acanthicus, Leproacanthicus

2) Cat 2 - Panaque / Panaqolus

3) Cat 3 - Open (Includes all species not mentioned above)

We will put up Cat 4, which will be for Hypancistrus/Peckoltia.

In this category, Competitior is submit their entry according to the following requirements

1) Group of Trio (sex ration will be not be taken into consideration for Judging)
2) Size >3"
3) Trio mus be of the same sub-specis (hybrid or cross breed will not be penalize but not encourage)
