So far, the Aro has not eaten the cories. Aro is about 7-8 inches. But, I think it's only a matter of time. Saw Aro one time put a corny my in his mouth and then spit out :eek:

Tank setup 5x2x2.5 with 1inch thick white sand at bottom.
Inhabitants 1x 9" Aro, 6x 3" Altums, 12x 1.5" Pygmy cories, and 5x 2.5" botox loaches, and 2x 4" Starlight plecos. Very peaceful Comm.

Bro, in your setup, if tank water stopped going through the overflow (i.e., lower than the lowest entry for overflow), will tank water still go out to sump through the underflow??:confused:

Say if the water intake inside the tank has an overflow and underflow intake to bring the water in tank to the sump tank.
If the pump in sump tank stopped, the overflow intake will take in water...

Have some filter media in my old OHF (BH, CRs, bacteria house, etc). Not in use for about 1yr alr. All dried up. Thinking of reusing them.

But, I stocked my canister filters with BH+, Matrix, and MarinePure. Dunno which works best. But I know the combination altogether works very well :)
