My new Planted tank
Dear all,
I have just setup my tank - 1.5ft and 10in and 10in equipment is 2 hang over filters 1 clip light - 11w Black quartz sand some lava rock 1 lobster 8 tetras 1 sucker fish Some nana plants, java fern and dunno what plant in the middle So I got few questions - will my plant grow? - Do I need to buy CO2 tank? - How to improve my setup, i got a feeling i bought wrong stones, should get wood instead. Keeping the lobster while fed should reduce nippings to the minimum, if not none at all. Lobsters have pretty tough jaws that can chew many plants including harder ones like nana, but softer plants will be an easier target.

Can say it is really a very nice planted tank setup, like ppl mentioned here the lobster will create trouble to the plants.
Suggest you sell off the lobster and get some altums which will look very nice and beautiful in your planted tank with the dark background. |
