Paired German Rams at C328

Hi, lovely German Ram Pairs in bags were sighted in C328 at the tank near the CRS / counter.

Question with regards to this if anyone has been there and seen them is if are they really male and female ?

Looked into the bags and they both seemed like females. Nonetheless their colors are beautiful are are extremely reasonably priced.

I have a pair of german ram. True according to the vid link about the differences between male and female ram i own.

My male ram have the dorsal 2nd black fin higher than the front one while female only front one higher.
The male black patch below the dorsal is just pitch black while female can see the blue jewel or reflective scales
The male have rounded fore head while female is pointy
The male pectoral fin is longer all the way touch end of anal fin while female shorter barely reach the front of anal fin.
My male ram is double the size the the female.

For the female belly is obvious pink colour maybe going to breeed soon keep my finger cross.

Hi, thanks for the video and the response. With those indications and my "expired" knowledge, I am affirmative the bag of german rams are / were in truth two females.
Would any bro like to correct me on this when you visit the LFS ?

If is 2 females u can try to get then open the bag and change to a male

Isnt females harder to find?

Why not just grab that bag and buy another male

I've ever bought a "pair" end up when I see closer is 2 males...

so now I have 1 extra male lying ard..... hard to find a female for it.

Male harder to find. only 1 to 2 in 10 are male.

The pink belly of the female should be the most obvious difference.
