Breeding of Moba
1. Has anyone successfully breed moba in SE Asia? Any one know?
2. Is there any way to induce the breeding? For example, we can do water change and feed them BW to induce breeding for discus. Thank you. |

Seen it commercially bred in Thailand. It is done with one male to about 6 females. And the male must not be overly aggressive, all must be ready for breeding or else the female will get bashed to death.
IMO, it's the space and the selection that makes this successful. Less so on the water temperature as believed. |

Thanks for your reply. My recent trip to BKK at Chatuchut did not see any Moba. I plan to be there in Feb and hope to learn more about the breed. Can you share your knowledge of the Thai breeder or shops there? Much appreciate.

Get you water temp to be about 25 deg C and ph about 8.5 and you can start breeding moba. I've done it!

wow, didn't know there is success story in Singapore.
Any other things to take note, like tank size, sex ratio and age of mobas? |
