Advise needed for setting up a XB comm tank
Greetings all.
Currently I have 5ft × 2.5ft x 2ft with 3ft sump tank. Housing 3 XB 1ft in it. Anyone with similar set up able to house 5 to 6 adult xb? Able to share some pic and info? Thinking to add 3 more XB. |

Basically you need to do more wc in order to house 6 xbs and also your sump media filtration should be good.

are you concern with tank space or bioload?
issit a cabinet tank? if not you might want to consider adding an OHF or canister to increase the filtration. |

At least a 4ft sump for your tank. I tried before 6pcs comm in my 5x2.5x2.5, bioload super high and need to wc 50% 2x weekly if not aro will get chipped scales and pimples if just wc once weekly.

I have the same specs as you. Have a comm of 5 RTG/HBs with other critters. 2 weekly WC 50-60%, been like this almost 2 yrs. So far so good.
