Default 1.5 feet tank w/o CO2

this is my messy tank without co2
thinking of upgrading to 2 feet moss tank...

Go for it, bro. Mine is 1.5 ft moss tank too...initially use CO2 but tends to overdose and kill quite a number of crs...now without it seems so much better.

have spare in my low tech ,low light, non co2 tank.

Your tank really lacks a proper scape.

Try to trim your plants and go for a basic outline. Like a U, a center piece, etc.

When you get a 2 feet, try to play with depth by sloping the gravel and use rocks or DW to help.
