Default IBS purchase ID


Bought these guys because had extra tanks lying around but I don't know their name. Anybody can Id them?

i guess they're cherry barbs? not really sure as i've never kept them before.

Cherry barbs for sure. Give them a darker background tank with some moss, they will colour up nicely.

Yes they would do well with lots of moss n a black oyama based tank... I used to keep them for awhile in a 3 feet tank .. Very cute but fast swimming fishes...

I noticed that some are more red than normal? Is this an indication whether they're male or female? Or is it just the fact that some a are redder than others?

cherry barbs, the redder ones are males and those pale colour ones are femals, very easy to distinguish.
