Hmm, I think I'm wrong mainly because I think the ray count isnt that reliable as i only have one platinum to compare with, and ray counts do vary from snakehead to snakehead. As i did research on maculata, their ray count overlapped with argus as well, but i differenciated them only through the shape of the head.

As for their imported source, I was down at the LFS in pasir ris and the boss had 2 for sale, labelled as platinum argus if i recall correctly. I asked him if it was imported from China and he said yes. But before that, i have the same reason as Nidd, LFS saying they brought in from China.

Couldn't resist this guy's yellow.
4 inch plus but didn't morph yet to dark bands so quickly grab as eyes looked black in shop.

Then some bro asked me if red eyes I said black.

Then went to have better look.
Red eyes lol.

Seaview and aquaone at pasir ris also has, all in pretty good shape. One piece in particular at seaview was pretty nice, but was flaring at the others through the divider.

Gavin, how many pieces do u have now?
