Default How to use a timer - Need help

Hi Guys,

I just bought two timer switches and have no clue how it works or for a matter of fact if it even works.

The is no instruction on the box also.

Pls help.

what kind of timer is it? mechanical or digital? Perhaps you can post a pic or model of it..

if mechanical timer, first rotate to the counter to the appropriate time. Then i think each tab that is pressed down is equivalent to 15 min of ON or something like that. So, depending upon your duration of ON time, there are quite a few tabs to press

I think you got most of it covered. Personally, I would add one more caution from personal experience. Do check regularly that your timer is working, as I have experienced before socket connections not good, hence the device never switched on at the correct time. I am using 1 such timer for my sump tank cabinet, running at 15 mins every hour, to power a fan for ventilating the cabinet interior.

nice..its a bit tricky at first but once u get the hang of it, it's alright..

am not sure why a lot of them dont come with instructions though..
