hmmmm.... i ever read somewhere that a needle valve is not recommended for use on a manual regulator. Reason being tt these manual regulator (single guage) does not step down the cylinder pressure (which can be as high as 1000PSI) down to below 10PSI which a dual-guage regulator does. So subjecting a needle valve to the 1000PSI pressure can be dangerous.

I personally never tried it be4 so couldn't be sure but jus sharing what I have read from other forums/threads previously. Maybe other members could comment.

I'm also interested to know more about adding a needle valve to a manual regulator.
But how confident are we that a dual guage will step down the pressure?

Besides, i don't even see any place i can attach a needle valve on a manual regulator to begin with.

Cheers,
Jerome
