Once it is stable, the maintainance is low. For me, I only put liquid fertiliser once a month and top up water once 1 - 1.5 week.

It is always the start up that is very difficult. That is way, alot of us failed. Need to be persistent and correct the condition of the water.

I did get alot of aglae problem initially. Hair algae, BBA etc... I have to remove them manually, do water change, adjust the photosynthesis period, frequency of fertilisation, rate of CO2 injection, introduce some aglae eater like otto, yamatos, malayans, nerite/ramhorn snails. Note that, I did not have any measuration kit to test our the water parameter like Ph level etc as I do not want to waste my money on these.. It is purely base on my observation and experience on the condition of the tank...

It is pretty easy to do that. Just disconnect the current sensor from the internal compartment and connect it to the external one.

You can buy the external sensor and connector at sim lim tower.
