Talking Humble "IQ 2Feet" Tank

From my previous IQ3 Shrimp tank, I got poisoned badly (explains why my title is now IQ 2Feet), I decided to start a 2 feet tank after CO approval.

Sourcing of equipment

1) Cabinet - Custom made by Fishy Business Online

2) Tank - Challenging! because we wanted a glass tank with curved front no silicone and braceless. Size must be 60x30x35cm. I went to almost all LFS but none found!! In the end I found the Kotobuki perfect tank in Hong Kong. Brought it all the way back!!

3) Filter - Eheim 2213

4) Chiller - Hailea HC-130A (Noisy!)

5) Light - Aquazonic T5HO 2 tubes

6) Substrate - GEX Shrimps & Plant Red pack

7) Media - ADA Bio Rio (from Hong Kong too, cheaper!)

8) 2L CO2 Tank with Solenoid

9) Misc - Lily pipe set (from Hong Kong, very cheap!)

Tank Start-up

Started 1 week ago. Tank as of yesterday.

Ammonia 0
Nitrite 0
Nitrate 5
PH 6.4

Very surprised by the quick 1 week cycle. Maybe because I used some old tank media in new tank and Mosura BT-9

Cannot start putting my shrimps in yet because my bogwood still floating and also still need to tie US Fissidens to my bogwood, Argh!

Wish me luck and stay tuned for more pictures!

Thanks bro

No the tank is quite cheap in fact, that is why I dare to risk bring it hand carry back to Singapore

Yeah the cabinet is well made. Especially the back, many cabinets usually only have thin ply wood but mine still same thickness all round.
