Default Qns On Bumble Bee Grouper

Just got myself a 4 + inches bumble bee grouper but got some questions to ask.
Is it normal for them to lay on their side ?
Is it becos i comm it with Red 16 inches , 2 rays @ 9 inches and 7 inches , 6 inches tarpoon and 3 sd @ 5 inches causing it to be very stress thus he is always lying on his side ?
what should i do ?
can also give me more info on the caring of this fish ?

not advisable to keep bbg with ray as bbg is brackish water. They need high ph and kh to survive. best u can comm it with cichlids.

Err... I always thought that brackish water is on the 'softer' side, so ph should be low right?

Brackish is like where the sea meets a river- sort of a mix. Harder water. BLACK water is soft water- dead leaves, etc make the water softer.

Check your pH and kH then you would know whether suitable for your bb grouper or not. I would avoid brackish water fishes because I personally find it harder to maintain the brackish water parameter. I would choose either pure freshwater or pure marine, if I ever choose.
