Need Help on Venturi Pump

Hi,

Just like to find if any1 try turning the powerhead outlet facing upwards?
Will the venturi effect be affected?

It shouldn't affects the pump but why do you want to do that?

by doing tht, the area taken up by the pump is smaller n easier to hide.
