Anyone grow mangrove in fresh water?
Hello anyone grow mangrove in fresh water set up?
Example: In the sump? Marine grow mangrove to combat nitrate i would like to use this idea for freshwater setup. http://saltaquarium.about.com/cs/nit...a/aa051398.htm Kindly advice. |

I an keen on the idea too. But the question is how? I plan to grow it in OHF if possible.

Where can I get the seedling? And how much will it cost? Didi some research in the past, seems that the mangrove idea in freshwater is used by the angmo can't really find much info interms of source and cost.

Why not use water hyacinth instead? They are known to be very efficient in removing nitrate and would be easier to manage than mangrove planes.
