Water change
Hi all,
Had a 422 tank around 80% filled with ohf and sponge filter. I noticed everything after water change, the fish in the tank will look kind off restless. Even through they will recover usually in a few hours, I do still find it rather worrying. Do not want to lose any of them. Here is my WC regiment.. 1) Remove around 50% of the water. 2) Top up with water straight from the tap. Water condition will be added almost straight after I started the tap running. Filter is on at all time and fish are in the tank. 3) Water is changed twice a week. Previously, I thought the speed of refill is too fast and has yet lower the speed. It will take around 3 hours to refill 50% of the tank. However, the fish are still as restless after WC. Used to do that previously in my house last time with no issue. Filter is matured as it has been around for 4 months. Have no space for aging tank thus want to know if anyone else is seeing the same. My area is at Yishun. Thanks. |

Bro , is your air pump turn to high or try add more air stone .
422 I do 90% water change and direct water fast flow rate . Try to face the water hose to the glass if too strong , if not face direct and create more bubble . and once new water in also add water condition straight don't need to water level enough . Hope it will help . |
