AC/DC is essential for comm tank. If tank got only pleco or one aro, then the risk is low, else best not to take chances.
An AC/DC air pump used to cost around $50.00+. Not sure what the current price.

i do have one set of hailea ac/dc set which my fren gave me. Just wondering is it to be 'On' everyday til the blackout occurs then it will start running on batt?
