wisteria need to plant into soil or can tied onto dw? Can survive w/o CO2 & chiller?

The plant at front right still doing fine, it's the right rear plant that had died & rot away, think my small goby passed away becos of this...

Water wisteria is a very fast growing plant. Sometimes considered nuisance by many and also by myself. It grow so fast that it slowly tank over a large area. Further more to it, it is a heavy nutrient sucker (good for algae issue). but you may have to watch out as it may out compete nutrient with other plants in your tank.

fyi. mine grew so fast that I had to pluck the whole bunch out which had deeply rooted in and gave all away.

Nice effort. Personally, this would be what I would term, a "heavy maintenance" tank. After keeping planted setups for the last 2 years, I personally have come to the conclusion that I would never keep a) cories with rooting plants b) stem plants with CO2 and high light and nutrient rich routine. a) cories have been pretty destructive, on the whole, to my rooting plants. Every other day, I would find crypts, pogostemon helferi, staurogyne and quite a few of my stem plants afloat... That's after plunging the entire plant 2" deep into the soil. That's not even counting my hairgrass lawn... As for b), all I want to remember is that over a period of 2 weeks, I trimmed enough stem plants from my 1.5/1/1, to fully populate another 3/1/1 setup. So from a personal experience, I prefer to avoid a and b in any new setups. I hope things work out better for you.

Appreciated u bro for sharing ur experiences.
Will monitor & watch out whether are the cories up to any mischief...

I do not hv CO2 nor chiller, will the plants grow as fast?
Got all these plants from Capricorn, all at a dollar per pot, recommended by the boss that they are hardy & easy to maintain...
