You can use two 12mm glass and have it sealed together. I have friends that build pond abt 15x7x4 using 2 piece of 12mm sealed together and have not experience any problem. even my 12x5x4 fgt uses 12mm glass sealed together making the thickness to be 24mm.

Planning to do something like your figure 1 for my upcoming place. But in a smaller scale and with Fibre Glass.

Was wondering is Acrylic will be a better choice for the panel?

Hi,

Sorry dont have any pictures yet. hopefully i can start soon.
try to research Eric's koi filter. thats the filter for my pond.

the u channel i got is the wrong size.

It looks like this, but the sides should be higher so more grip for the cement.

Bro, I think you are referring to laminate glass, is it? Yes, laminate glass is much better than tempered glass. It is safer. I use it for my pond too 😊

Beside the Japanese mats and brushes, you need to cater a space for the coral chips/Oyster shells. Preferably during cycling, if u can transfer some of your medias into the filter, it will definitely speed up the cycling..,

Cheers!
