Firstly LFS - Live Fish Shop ( Aquariums) Here on AF ( Arofanatics) we use acronyms very often e.g. As you found out 328 is in Clementi , there is also NKS in Kovan There are two aquarists in Yishun and they are preface with Y(Blk no), PARIS is Pasir Ris Fish Farms. QH = Qian Hu at Jalan Lekar, Quote:
Another bro is ECTan, the rumor is that he has successful colonies -so check with him Also try QH, was there recently and saw that they have some for sale. Hong Yang in CCK opposite the CCK interchange also has shellies As for shells, you can get them at Cold Storage - I bought some the other day at $14.00 for about ten with snails - Pop the tray into the oven , enjoy the meal with frnch loaf. The empty shells wash thoroughly and you have your shells. Better than buy empty shells for $10.00. Another source for shells is at C328 - $1 per shell. Good luck and all the best for your search Last edited by Betta Mania; 09-12-2010 at 03:08 PM. |

Hi Bros,
My 1 ft tank setup. The shells are sea shells mainly. Don't really know if they're big enough yet until the fish arrive, else will need to get the escargot Went to QH last week and spotted multis, similis and Neolamprologus brevis. Would prefer the Brevis. If its Brevis, seeing if i can push my luck to keep 4 ( 2m, 2f) Also, heard that CCK306 got Lamprologus ocellatus. For this, I can probably only keep a pair. Still contemplating. Tried to find fine sand but all shops only sold them in huge bags, so just ended up using normal gravel... Tank still in the process of cycling. Water parameters looks good, pH8, kH 10, dH 15. |

Bro shells can add on later..n yes shld b ok w ur existing..
Best to focus more on water..ur ph etc. By e way, brevis r best to b kept alone in a pair..n consider 1 ft nt v big, getting 2 pairs will result in stress.. Similis n multies r fine w more in a one ft.. |
