L144 Long-finned Blue Eyed Ancistrus
Finally i manage to catch the adults L144 Long-finned Blue Eyed ancistrus from the pond, and luckily, i have 1 female out of 5 adults! Phewwww...
Before relocating them to the ponds, they looked pretty pale and skinny. <a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/harnsheng/9352308094/" title="564856_10150840320219001_1630605368_n by Harn Sheng, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7317/9352308094_ee918647f6_z.jpg" width="450" height="572" alt="564856_10150840320219001_1630605368_n"></a> And this is what happen after few months, which i'm totally surprised and delighted. Decided to leave them longer to grow up and color up nicely. <a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/harnsheng/9349528631/" title="456376_10150837547274001_951894043_o by Harn Sheng, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3809/9349528631_8e79b8cda2_z.jpg" width="640" height="480" alt="456376_10150837547274001_951894043_o"></a> Now i'm back from a year working holiday in New Zealand, i've decided to catch all of them out and try to breed it. Rewarded 2 weeks later with this: <a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/harnsheng/9349500227/" title="WMDSC_7575 copy by Harn Sheng, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3788/9349500227_c6de9450c2_z.jpg" width="640" height="428" alt="WMDSC_7575 copy"></a> Cute!!! |

Thank you Peanut for the mod!
They are about a week old now. Tiny but starts eating yesterday, so the growth should be faster soon :P Btw, any suggestion on ancistrus fries's food? They don't seems to be interested with the crushed pellets given or even cucumber. Tried decap artemia and i don't see a big interest either. |
