Did u acclimatised it to your tank water by adding water in increment while in the bag? How long was the puffer in the tank before it started swimming strangely?

My congo puffer had never swam like that before.. It seems like your congo is a bit disoriented.. But my congo did explore the glass walls frequently to familiarise with the boundaries when it first arrived.. Meanwhile, monitor the parameters, check for any signs of stress, make sure it isn't breathing too heavily, etc... I've referred your video to the puffer forum and hopefully the experts there would be able to help out.

Burrowing into the sand seems like a good start. After Starting with Green Spotted Puffers, I launched myself into this by getting myself a Red Congo Puffer.

I'm a little paranoid thou with it not moving much. I have been watching him for hours and the only movements made are with its eyes ? Moving non stop so thats making me feel less worried. Gonna watch it for awhile longer before setting it into its tank.

This is my red congo puffer still in its acclimatising tank *Satellite Box*

Tank water is slowly introduced via an extremely small air pump.

Gonna add 0.5g of Epsom Salt for 3 days before adding him to the main tank.
